Bosco the Scarecrow

Yesterday Oliver's mum came in and helped the infants make a scarecrow for our vegetable patch. The infants decided to name him Bosco after the puppet we saw at the theatre last month.

Grandparents Day

Friday the 14th of June was Grandparent's Day at NJS.

The infant classroom was a buzz of excitement with everything from golf, juggling, clay pottery, storytelling, guitars and singing going on. We all had a great time and we would like to thank all the grandparents for coming in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

New Additions to the class

At last! Our butterflies are here. Having watched the caterpillars grow and then keeping a close eye on the cocoons, our butterflies arrived this morning.

Construction Art

For the last few weeks the children have been creating art by constructing their own pieces.

Today we used lego in class to create groups pieces. Here are the results.
